TECH-CLUB MOT QUALITY CONTROL
The Quality Control system enables two categories of Quality Control or Quality Management information to be recorded to support compliance with the DVSA MOT requirements.
* The 1st category is directly applicable to the Vehicle Test Station; this is referred to as the "Vehicle Test Station Menu"
* The 2nd category is applicable to MOT Testers and other Vehicle Test Station personnel; this is referred to as the "Personal Menu"
* The 1st category is directly applicable to the Vehicle Test Station; this is referred to as the "Vehicle Test Station Menu"
* The 2nd category is applicable to MOT Testers and other Vehicle Test Station personnel; this is referred to as the "Personal Menu"
CATEGORY 1: VEHICLE TEST STATION MENU
1. MOT Tester Quality Control Checks (QC Checks) Sample
Provides an easy to complete series of checks to enable periodic Quality Control Assessments of MOT Testers. The structured series of checks embrace the essential processes and procedures that MOT Testers perform when carrying out an MOT test. The test results can be logged using YES or NO tick boxes; but additional comments can be added if required.
2. Test Equipment Calibration Records (and reminders) Sample
Provides the facility to enter equipment type, make, model and serial number along with the required calibration date (which is often automatically calculated). Email reminders are then sent to the chosen member of staff 1-month and 2- weeks before calibration expiry.
3. In-House Inspection Reports Sample
Provides a guided series of checks that can be performed at any time to help Vehicle Test Stations comply with DVSA requirements.
4. View all Staff Records
Provides the facility to view and check records (CPD and Quality Control Checks) for all applicable staff

1. CPD / Training (Personal Records) Sample
Enables MOT Testers and other applicable personnel to record Training and Learning activities (including dates, course titles, training or content providers etc.)
2. QC Checks (Personal Records) Sample
Enables MOT Testers or other personnel to view their own personal records relating to the Quality Control Checks that have been carried out at the Vehicle Test Station.
3. Perform MOT Tester Quality Control Checks
Enables selected personnel to perform Nominated Tester Quality Control Checks (without the VTS being logged in).
Note that the applicable personnel are selected as Quality Controllers by the VTS on the registration details page

Note that records for both the Vehicle Test Station Menu and for the Personal Menu are recorded and can be retrieved or printed at any time.
